Come and See!

A living ancient Church experience has come to Union County, PA, in the heartland of the Susquehanna Valley, rooted in Christ's

Apostolic Church.

Welcome to the Saint John of Shanghai and San Francisco Russian Orthodox Mission Church of Winfield-Lewisburg, PA. We are an English-language American parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR), part of the worldwide Orthodox Church, which traces back through the Moscow Patriarchate to ancient Byzantium and thence to Apostolic Christianity in the early Holy Land. St. John's includes families of diverse backgrounds and ages, including both converts to Orthodox Christianity and cradle Orthodox, who identify as American Orthodox Christians. All are welcome to come and visit and experience the ancient liturgical life of the Christian Church in Orthodox form, and to learn about the living tradition of the Apostolic Church founded by Jesus Christ. Currently we worship at the Lewisburg Club, but have recently bought 4 acres (including a small cemetery) nearby in Winfield for our new Church temple. As our Lord Jesus Christ said, please "come and see!" (John 1:39)

Thank you for visiting our parish website! Your presence genuinely enhances our services, and we will be very happy to have you here.
